First, I would like to apologize that I don't have a photo of my very first hatched chameleon
.
However, I would like to share my exciting news, that I have thwarted Brad Ramsey's attempt of cornering the market on R. brevicaudatus in order to take over the world
with my very first CH chameleon. Dang these guys are TINY!
So, what is more embarrassing was that I was expecting the little dude on the 24th, so when I went to check on the egg (Sunday is my weekly check day) I see this little guy starring up at me. I have no idea when he hatched.
I put him in a small kritter keeper, misted it and went out and got some FF. The FF are a pain to contain in a KK, so this morning, I put the little dude in a heavily planted 10 gallon and flooded it with the FF that has a screened lid (way easier to contain).
I put an incandescant on one end for heat and a piece of banana for the FF.
He appears to be alert but I have yet to see him eat.
So is the 10 gallon too big for the little guy?
