My Veiled Camy layed her first clutch last night.

This is amazing. We watched her intently, almost as if we were the grandparents of a mother in labor.

Talk about perfect timing. This is my first Camy and so we were not really ready for her to lay her eggs. We did not notice some of the signs until we were on a trip and our Camy-sitter sent us a pic asking if digging was normal behavior. We got home the next day, ran to the store and got some sand. She was in the laying bin for about an hour before she started to dig a hole to layed her eggs. She is still covering the eggs.

Too bad they aren't fertile :-(

I'll post pictures later (I'm on my phone now).
