That would work but you'd still need ventilation from the bottom else it will probably only blow out the higher layer of air and the bottom would still be stale.I wonder if you placed a fan on top facing up, if it would draw air out and gently pull fresh air back in from the other side??
I've read about people using blowing or sucking fans to help cool their enclosure and it's also used with frogs I think.
You'd need to know what you're doing to not introduce a draft.
