My T. deremensis Update

Fabian is doing great!
Such an interesting species ... in the month that he has been here I think he has maybe explored a 5 inch territory in his enclosure.
So hard not to over feed him as he is always hungry and hand feeds, but I resist temptation every day and he only gets a couple of crickets every two to three days.
We are so in love with him!

No.

He's just a baby and I have lots of time to decide if I want to try and find a female.
He is showing the spots because I am bothering him. Normally he is just green.

Our T. deremensis sits in the center of his 2' cube and doesn't need to move an inch to get food. It's all within reach. I'll see about grabbing a few updated pics.

Wow, Brad. He looks so good! They are such a beautiful species, and so hardy (relatively speaking), wouldn't you agree?

I'm glad you guys accepted him-- there are very few captive-hatched deremensis in the entire world, and to see them do so well makes it all worth it.

Keep up the good work.

Brad he looks good, we also got some from Fabian and ours do the same thing.. our male is actually relatively friendly and will eat silkworms out of my hand. The female on the other hand watches me from across the room and won't eat if I am in the room. But they both get spots when I take them out, which is not very often, if I can even find them. They do such a great job of looking like a thin leaf among the pothos plant. Fabian did a great job and once we get a better camera we will be sure to post some pictures of ours as well along with the 2 baby quads that we kept for ourselves...
