They can do yeah and time can all vary from what ive found out try offering a varied diet

Hey Josh, how are you? Just realized you are in the uk.. I live in Ireland,pretty much the same weather condition and we both have a panther aproximately the same age! Let's keep in touch!
Is he still playing picky eater?
What lights are you using? Type of cage? Humidity and temperature?
One of those things may be the cause of hunger strike.. It could be..

I've got a reptiglo 5.0 uv tube plus a sunglo 100w basking light temps are around 85-90 in basking n go's down to about 75ish he's in a mesh topped tank with 4 circle airflow mesh holes and humidity is around 50 since I took the live plant out. I've brought a flexarium and it arrived yesterday I'm buying a 10.0 uv bulb n another live plant next week I know I shouldn't of had a viv style tank but sone people have kept em in vivs but I'm changing the tanks over on Saturday e

Everthing I have read states to stay away from a 10.0 bulb. It's just too much uv for your Cham. And seems a lot of the Euro Cham keepers have vivs. I have one also. As long as there is ventilation you'll be fine.

Humm, good point maybe someone else can help with this.

I did a quick search , and the ExoTerra ones seem to state that they allow uv light through the "mesh". Is this the norm in Europe to run a 10.0 bulb with the flexarium?

A lot more keepers seem to have their Chams in vivs over there compared to the US! (up untill a few years ago , it seemed it was taboo to keep a Cham in a glass viv untill some experts stated otherwise)

The boxes the Reptisun 5.0 and 10.0 tubes come in specifically state that black mesh cuts 50% of the light getting through. Depending on the size of your enclosure and how far from the top your fixture is, it might take a 10.0 to get the effect of a 5.0 in a screen cage.

Well it's a 4ft (48inch) n it will be hung a couple inch above the mesh

That's a good size enclosure. With the mesh, the 10 might be the better choice. I've been looking around here to see if anyone did UVB readings for the mesh cages but so far haven't found anything.

My chams both did this at a similar age. I was worried that they were sick - however, offered a waxworm as a test and WHACK out came the tongue time after time.

The key here is to offer nothing for a good few days until he is really hungry and try again - or offer a different variety of feeders as he could be bored with his current ones.

Yeah he ain't had nothing in there for two days and he didn't eat then but he must be hungry now because he took 3 today and I'm gona get a large variety for him next week n I'm gona test him out with everything
