My panther female is acting weird

She was hatched march 25 and is all of a sudden very active in her enclosure. She is all over the place trying the climb the glass. She has also changed color. I don't feel any eggs though and she has a lay bin. Temp and everything in her enclosure is the same.

How big is her enclosure? If your enclosure is too small that could be giving your female Furcifer pardalis activity/movement issues.

I recommend posting pictures of your enclosure. That is going to give the Chameleon Forum members more of an idea of what is going on.

If you can go bigger than the 36x18, I urge you to. Our little ladies are just as active as the boys and will use as much space as you give. I have upgraded each of mine to double wide (4’ long, 2’ deep and 4’ high) and seeing how they use the room, wish I could go even bigger.

Sometimes they see their reflection in the glass. I can’t tell if that enclosure is against a wall or not but I try to put my enclosures in a corner of the room, so they feel more secure in their surroundings. Ideally you want an enclosure in such a way that they see you coming, and you don’t appear suddenly from around a corner. That’s my philosophy anyway!
