My Panther Chameleon is so Sleepy

Hi Everyone!

So I have a panther chameleon that is about 9 months old. I have had him for about 4 months, and recently he has been sleeping a lot. I googled it and the worst possible scenarios came up. I am worried about my little bud. I think it may be a vitamin deficiency but all I can seem to find is supplements that have D3 and Im getting mixed feelings about if D3 is even safe for him. Can someone clear this up for me?

Also I have noticed slight swelling in his right eye today (also maybe due to a vitamin A deficiency) but I am unsure. The only exotic vet in my state told me they no longer service chameleons. I am stressed out. Zameleon (Thats his name) is my little friend, unlike many other chameleons I know he does not hate me and because of that I think he is special :( Please help!
