Thats true, i was told that if i want a pet thats gonna hate me i must get a bosc monitor - thats not it, mine were incredibly docile and tame:D

Wow those are neat! They get kinda big tho. Do you have to keep them in a cage or can you free range them?

Those are some tortoises i hatched, my room with incubators and cages, kitchen with cages and some stock for sale:D

I see you breed bearded dragons. Would you mind if i ask you a question. What substrate do you put your bearded in for laying eggs? My female will only dig in sand but wont dig in soil.

Yes sure, my brother breeds tarantulas so he has lots of peat. I use the peat because it hold moisture for long and holds a firm tunnel. I have used sand and soil but i prefer the peat. i use a 5 little tub filled with peat and place it with her in the cage, i also put a pile of stones infront of the tub so that the female can climb into it. You can even incubate with peat so i recommend it as a great medium due to its multi-functions

Hey, do you have a good site about the savannahs? I have one and he is not taming down well but he has potential. I want to double check my husbandry to make sure I am giving him everything he needs. Sources I have viewed say different things oftentimes :\

A care sheet would be good, too.

I can't wait until he is big enough to leash! :D

Sorry no sites but there is a good book that mentions handling, its called "monitor lizards and tegus" - its a barrons professional series book. Thats a cute on you got! the one in the photo is 10 months. They are more relaxed the bigger they get.

I don't mean specifically for handling. I just mean care in general.
