My Newly Built Outdoor Enclosures

Oh one other thing I suggest is strapping the cages to the pillars behind.

Thanks for the suggestion. The bases are solid 6" pine. This combined with the weight of the Hibiscus make them pretty bottom heavy. The wind passes through with no ill effect. I suppose none of that would matter if we had a quake here. I'll look in to designing a low visual impact restraint solution.

Great work. I also think that a partial cover on the cages would be good. The mist system is nice. I use those same nozzles. I've been holding off on sharing the wealth of options from DIG irrigation so as to not piss off any sponsors in this VERY sponsor heavy forum. Good cages.

I have a few masonite panels I attach depending on the angle of the sun. They give shade to 1/4 of the Hibiscus.

Great enclosures! One question though: are the chams able to get out of the sun if they want to? The plants don't seem to offer a lot of shade.

I have a few masonite panels I attach depending on the angle of the sun. They give shade to 1/4 of the Hibiscus. I usually have them out there for around 3 hours daily depending on the weather.

One more enclosure... This one is for our Tortoise, "Tortellini".
