Ok guys just a quick check before i get my new addition, is this setup ok for a 4 month old veiled? its a 16x16x30 terrarium with a small schfflera at the bottom and some fake plants and branches. Got the lights and all and gunna go with the little dripper instead of making another home made one lol i know my stuff but just clearing it up with you guys :)

im a newbie but i would add more green stuff in the middle of the cage so the cham has more places to hide.

I'm a newbie as well but I noticed you have the dome light directed downwards flat on top. Someone on here posted a cool picture showing how to angle it so the warm basking light shines into the same area as the uvb so the two affects are mixed. (which is how I have mine setup)

Since you stated you know your stuff I didn't want to pipe in with a suggestion you probably already knew.:)

Dripper instead of mister? I'm still learning about what the difference is. Just curious why you are doing a dripper. Do veilds prefer them?

Alot of people have both.
The dripper provides a constant avliable water source while the mister help with humidtiy and also as another water source.
But some chams wont take to a dripper.
Like my pedro doesnt really care for it.
I have to actually mist ihm really good to get him to drink.

well im goin got try and get a nice hibiscus today, i totally didnt realise i ran out of plants yesterday lol  as for the lights i was testing the temps in that pic so im trying to find a good spot for the perch and the basking light and the uv ligh to all be haha and last but not least, i stick to the dripper because i like to spray them alot myself and i have not gotten around to buying a mister. so the driper provides that one water spot i know she or my panterh will have when im not there. I just find that with a mister and a huge all screen cage the water tends to dry up quickley unless you have it set to spray alot during the day
