my new life long goal...

Is to open a pet shop that carries mainly reptile supplies or any supplies of the more exotic pets. With feeders of all kinds and reptiles that are very well taken care of. I think this is greetly needed for people. Of course it'll be in a bigger city then the one i live in, but I plan on moving anyway. Anyone have ideas or plans of their own.?

I wanna go to that shop :D I wanna be a farmer with freerange, organic cows and chickens. I also wanna have some organic fruits and veggies here and there so I don't have to go to the store  but before that, to get all the money for my farm, I'm gonna be either a singer or an arquitec :)
and I want to legalize a couple of more chameleon species here. We can only have jacksons or commons...

I do organic farming. Seriously hard work, much harder than spraying chemicals. The farm I work on has a nursery that speializes in native plants. And in the spring I plant a half acre garden, this year I'll add greens for gut loading. I also want to open an exotic shop and breeding facility, with the ability to care for animals properly not neglect them as I have seen some large scale facilities do.

id LOVE to open my own shop and in the back breed my own chameleons, dart frogs, feeders, and snakes so i dont have to buy from those horrible breeding facilities...i dont want dogs, but id have kittens from the humane society to be adopted and all sorts of stuff! theres an empty building across the street from my house..the entire front of it is one big window with a door in the middle..used to be a trophy shop but its for sale now..i dream of the day i can buy it and turn it into a pet store.

WHATS WRONG WITH DOGS?!

*hulk smash*

Good luck being able to afford and make a living! There is a reptile store in my area that keeps reptiles exactly how they should be kept. They have everything you can imagine in that store reptile related. They breed their geckos and perhaps there chameleons as well. They have a beautiful female veiled, with a lay box in her enclosure, and as happy as can be. They are great but also have many people working in the store and not that many people coming to buy. I'm sure they make most of their money on doing presentations, etc. Running a pet store that actually is knowledgable and takes care of their animals is also VERY expensive!

There is a snake museum / store / breeding facility just outside of my town. They focus on snakes but have some fantastic Panther's in a giant enclosure, and a whole collection of tortoises and huge monitors not to mention their full CB snake breeding facility, feeders they breed themselves, a good selection of other reptiles and amphibians mostly from local breeders etc etc... a very cool place I make many excuses to go there and wander around.

It reminded me of this when you announced your life goal so I thought it would make some good inspiration.

I can't find if it is against the rules to post links but if you Google Serpentarium you will find it as the top result. Also billed as the Snake Museum.

theres nothing wrong with dogs! but i dont think its right for them to be kept and sold in tiny kennels in a store..dogs should be out running around..if someone wants a dog, they can go to a breeder or the humane society...simple as that.
