On the urging of Danny and Stefan I went to look at the nosy be in the pet store and fell in love! He needs some TLC but isn't in bad shape. Here is what happened upon bringing him home.

1. He drank and drank and drank and drank. They had a little tub of water in his cage....ECK

2. He ate crickets - 8 big fat ones dusted in Calcium w/ D3. He will be on the regular regime with the rest of the crew tomorrow.

3. Guess what - lol POOP Had to make his cage his I guess. Anyway, what more could anyone want.

So, please welcome Mr. Be

I couldn't help seeing this guy in a little 20 gallon high glass tank with a bowl of water, a fake plant, and some drifwood. Im glad someone got him while he was still in decent shape.

Naomi, he looks very pretty, he will make a wonderful addition for you. I am with Danny, i am glad you got him before he had any issues for being in the pet store.

A couple of times I have taken photos of the PROPER setup for a cham back to the store along with some of the healthier happier cham to prove the point about education and correct care. Sometimes shop staff listens and good things happen. I was asked to do some demonstration setups for high humidity herps at a store so customers could see what it takes to do right. The displays (and a healthy cbb cham resident) were fun to put together and customers were really intrigued. One woman listened to everything for over an hour, asked a million questions, came back the next day and bought the entire setup including the cham. Worked out really well.
