My new Dragon Strand arrives today

I'm getting excited- I bought what I think will work as a stand and Whiteplains is this weekend for decorations -I bought a large breeder cage. I haven't decide how I'm going to do the upgrades- eventually they all are getting new cages and lights - I like the "keeper" cages for viewing but the breeders look so easy to keep clean and I really hate what I have between the cages now. I'm still not positive Clifford is a girl either - I'm thinking I'll end up with 2 large breeder cages for my girls and a large keeper for Chumley my panther. Possibly a medium breeder with a lay box for Clifford when I'm positive of her sex. I sort of want all the cages to "match" which would mean I might end up with 3 breeder cages - and work on a free range. I'm not a breeder I'm just a keeper who wants to spend less time on upkeep and more time enjoying my crew. Any suggestions for how I can get 3 cages with 3 species to look good and keep them all happy- I've been able to keep the cages at the proper temps for each so far- but I'd like to add more light (without more heat for the jackson)

I love my Dragon Strand cages!! My answer to adding more light to montains to to use is to use fluorescent bulbs as they do not add heat.

Well I set it up with the cart I got at overstock (for 129.99)
http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garde...le-door-Cabinet/3309401/customer-reviews.html I didn't assemble the drawer and kept the top off and the dragonstrand breeder fit's right in- It actually worked great IMO- I had to add a bit of support for the cage - I need to get rid of all the boxes and such before I take pictures- but I'm real happy with it- It's going to be a big improvement over the cheep zipup screen cage she has - especially when I add the lights and plants. (and the chameleon- she has to wait to move for the lights and plants)

I only put one lonely vine in it - but here's a picture of how it turned out - I didn't have to do any alterations except to add some support for the cage- I'm planing on putting a drain in the pvc bottom so it drains into a bucket behind the doors and hoping I can fit my aquazamp underneath also- I might have to do some more to protect the wood where the cage & base meet & I thought about using contact paper on the inside of the base to protect it from random splashing.

That looks like it was made for that cage! :) Great job. Fingers are crossed that your AZ fits. If it doesn't, you could always buy a different container that will fit.

I don't think so - the shipping would kill you - though they would be great for the UK - I know a lot of member from the UK end up covering their screen cages on 3 sides.

Would you mind posting the link to that kitchen cart? The link you put up are the reviews. Either way, nice set up!

Yeah I've had to cover up all 3 sides for mine, they would be ideal for the UK.
