plz lend me your knowledge i haven't had a cham in 5 years or so and i had a Senegal cham for 8 years until tragically he got huge infection and despite my great efforts he didn't make it and now I'm back

sorry thought i had mentioned that im getting veilds the male is an exilant example of a sunburst with bright yellow bars that go from top to bottom and has a aqua-blue belly

I am thinking with the amount of misting/dripping that the substrate will become a moldy mud pit...it looks difficult to clean even though it looks nice.

i thought about moisture and before this i had a fish tank and the water evaporation rate is quite high and a mist should actually just keep my plants watered and i might even have to add water on top of that but yes i will have my eye on it

nice setup i had a similar setup but not as nice as yours that i kept a panther in about 10 years ago it worked out great
:D:D

I've planted grass in the bottom of my cages that have soil, and even in pots. It lasts for months then I let it dry out and plant it again. It would be possible to keep it alive all the time with enough light though. Grass seed is really cheap, use the "Shade" stuff.

Also you can add hydroton (Hydrocorn) to suck up the soil moisture, and the plant roots will take it from that.
