Well, first of all welcome to the forums! What size is that cage? Honestly, it looks was too small for a year old Veild. The preferred size is 24 X 24 X48 or larger. I would get a larger enclosure for starters, preferrably screen. There are quite a few changes that you will need to make here! You do not need a light at night, so get rid of the red light! Unless your cage temp is going to get below 60 degrees or so you will not need any type of heat. Remove the substrate and leave the cage floor bare. The mulch is a breeding ground for bacteria, as well as the fountain, so get rid of that also. The mulch can be injested by your chameleon and could kill him. Your lights need to be on 12 off 12. You have your lights on too long. You do not want to have crickets in your cage at night. They may nip at your chameleon while sleeping. So remove them. that is another reason why you do not want the mulch in there:they can hide in that also. You only need one reptisun bulb. Not two. I am not seeing the one on the left side?, But you do not need it anyways. Are you misiting the cage for drinking? You mentioned leaf bowls for him to drink out of? Are you not misting the cage down for drinking? The leaf bowls are not the best idea either as they present standing water and should be changed out constantly then. You could use some more foilage in there also.
