Sang, as long as they can find there food a bigger cage is alright. Cup feeding would be the best situation. They very quickly find out what that cup is for and will hang around it when hungry.
Is he sleeping yet Tim? Oh, he is 3 months![]()
I was going to say that cage is a very bad idea for a 3 week old LoL....
My new sambava is only 2 months old and hes in a 18"x12"x20" and I think its a little big.
Yep he is really tiny! No standing pools of water in his cage at all. Here is a picture of his cage.. 18x18x36 for now.

Yeah don't know why I said 3 weeks LOL. He slept very well last night and when I got home he ate about 15 cricketsand was drinkng water like crazy.
The crickets I bought yesterday (1000) got attacked by ants during the night and killed all the crickets so I'm going to just buy crickets each day. cause the ants are insane at my place and now I know I can't keep crickets LOL.
Try using Bounce fabric softner sheets. Place at point of entry or trail and ants should stay away.
I don't see the UVB light.
Otherwise, awesome enclosure

Tried that trick also tried acouple other tricks. the heat in L.A right now is just bringing them in. Daily they are in the cham cages not alot but a few
OMGoodness!!!!!!!
It have the same problem as well.
I have gone to the point of frustration.
The problem with my veiled is he won't eat right away whenever the food is available.
He will usually eat one and then eat another one about 2-3 hours later.
I put 4 worms. And off course, the ants races and kill the worms and steal his meal. Poor guy.
I could not find point of entry as well.
These insects are evil!
Now, i take him outside every time i need to feed him
good thing that he's on every other day basis.
and the coccidia is not helping either.
he looks great TBS, how big is his cricket?
