so i just setup my mistking, have been messing around with it to get it to work for the past hour or so, but everytime i set it to mist, nothing comes out. All i hear is the motor running and i tried unplugging the tube that goes to the nozzle but that didn't help, no water was coming up and out.
Not sure whats wrong ;/ . any suggestions or advice would be great!
Oh, i also tried resetting it once.
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you need to prime the pump. unattach the tubing from the reservoir. grab a glass of water, hold it level/slightly higher then the pump and put the tubing you unattached from the reservoir in the cup. then run the pump until it starts taking water. Dont let it take all the water in the cup or youll get air in the lines and might have to do it all over. once you see it taking water turn the pump off and reattach the tubing to your reservoir.

hope that works

haha thanks ashley, but yea, ive already looked at that
just tried what you suggested Mr.wilson.
Didn't work :/. thanks for trying.
is it really crucial to let the timer or pump charge for two hours?
because it hasnt been two hours yet but the pump IS working when the timer goes off, it just doesn't suck water for some reason. It shakes and makes noise.:(

Howdy Allen,

It might have been in the post already mentioned but a common reason why no water is coming up the tube is that the tube isn't quite all the way into the input side of the pump (assuming that you have it connected to the input side ). It goes in farther than you'd guess. Put a very small amount of lubricant (even a drop of water on the outside helps) on the outside of the tube and give it a good shove into the pump. I'm guessing that it needs to go about a 1/2" into the pump connector. If you think you really have it connected correctly and it still doesn't work then grab a mouthful of water and blow it into the input tube while the pump is running.

Thank you Dave! your suggestions worked!
Its working fine now. I'll post new pictures of my new setup soon.
( took me all day to get it all together -_- ) haha.

I am hoping that by the end of the week I will have everything in... over the labour day I should hopefully catch up on the backorders and ship after the weekend... that is the plan at least

Another issue is that diaphram pumps can have trouble priming when there is a restriction on the output feed of the pump.

Doing as Dave Weldon said, pushing fluid into the pump, can help overcome a cavitated pump.
