a few weeks ago i brought my jacksons chameleon who is about 2 years old to the vet because he had a lump by his anus. the vet pulled this absess and this big long waxy thing out of his anus and he claimed that its normal and the part that acts as the chameleons penis got infected and backed up. the swelling went down as the vet said it would but now Ox sleeps almost all day and he wont eat. hes drinking every day but he just wont eat and im worried, anyone have any idea what could be happening?

Did the vet put the chameleon on any antibiotics? If the vet treated/removed an abcess then he should have.

The waxy thing is likely a sperm plug.
