My hibiscus

I came home from school today and was amazed at how good my hibiscus was doing indoors. I don't use a plant light for it and it bloomed 10 flowers today.

I've only had about 5 or so leaves turn yellow. Is it safe to say this plant is going to thrive without a plant light?

WOW, that's awesome. It's hard to say how well it will do. If I were you and saw it going downhill, I'd put it outside in the sun for a week and let it revive itself. Or....you could get two and switch them out. :D

I have found with my hibiscus (I have had several) that once the original buds have flowered they tend not to produce new ones. Maybe that's because the UK is too cold for them, lol! They are only available over here during the summer months.

Mine only flowered the buds that it already had. After those were eaten/fell off it decided to stop. Which reminds me, I need to go pick up a plant light.

I used to not use a plant light, and i just got one a few weeks ago. I can already see the effects of the plant light. The plants grow towards the light and grow a lot faster, and the light adds additional lighting, which makes the cage look better. You should get a plant light, they are great IMO.

Where do you get your double light fixtures from? And what kind of plant light, I've read a 6200k or something like that is good.
