Now that they're all done their baytril treatment they're chowing down on some pheonix and waxies! image.jpg

I know you have been having some problems health wise with your two but the male on the left is VERY skinny. If housed together he might not be getting his share of the food. While intraspecific aggression in sternfeldi is weak I usually don’t recommend them living communally, particularly for new owners that may not recognize the subtle problems and stresses as they occur. Two males (if that is what you have) will definitely fight as they get older. I would separate them.

One thing I have not noticed in your other past photos is the eye and mouth on the male (?) on the right. Has it always been like that? What vet are you seeing in the Windsor area? I have some biologist and herpetologist friends in the area that could give a recommendation.

Sorry I’m not trying to be mean be posting this, but some of these problems can be fixed now with some changes to your husbandry before it becomes worse. The sternfeldi are one of my favourite species and it would be great if we could see more of these in Ontario again.

They're a male and female, due to the baytril she lost a lot of weight and is just putting it back on now. Yes his mouth was like that when I got him. They're finally eating on their own again. I see dr. Sweetman

Also I hand feed them both, and let them free range some crickets so she's getting about the same amount of food as the male
