my girl is eggbound??

my cham is wc panther female(age unknown)
i buying my cham a april 3th but may be she is immature gravid(55gram)
I don't know when she was gravid
from the first time she met, she showed me peach and black color
But she is not fat.. just seem slim
She is eating cricket 5~6 three-four times a week(this week nothing or 1~2)
poop color is a little red/pink(dripper is located in the cage)
i'm use the screen cage(24X24X48) and Schefflera arboricola
about four days ago she is go aroud the cage once
already a laying bin the about two days ago but she is not interested that
She recently located in the middle of the plant.(not basking during day lately)
cage temp 70~74 basking temp 89 and ubv 25w
I want to take pictures,,but she is very very very touchy and hate pictures
what can i do for my cham?

I'm sorry, but I'm having trouble understanding your post above.

Are you saying you bought a wild caught 55g female panther on April 3?

Are you are feeding her 15 to 20 crickets a week? Is she only eating 5 to 6 every other day because that's all she will eat or because that's all you feed her?

Is the urate--the white part of the poop--a color other than white? Is your "red/pink" reference to the urate?

I never restrict the food intake of a new import, ever, especially one I feel might be gravid. The amount you are feeding seems grossly inadequate for a gravid 55g chamleon, especially a wild caught.

I also give them much more water than I think a captive born one needs. Do you have an automatic mister for her? I see a reference to a dripper but no mister. Humidity in a house is nowhere near the humidity that she came from. A dripper will not raise the humidity. Chameleons depend on high humidity to stay hydrated. Dry air dehydrates them even with adequate misting. I suspect she is quite dehydrated.

The other thing I do with new imports is not medicate and leave them alone. They need to get over the stress of import and it is a very very significant physical and mental stress. Don't underestimate the stress she has gone through. Being gravid only adds to the stress. There is a reason most gravid imports die.

I would be running the automatic mister for 10 minutes at least three times a day. I would also run the mister a few more times a day just to try to get the humidity up to near 100%. I would not worry about the cage drying out for several days. It sounds like she is quite dehydrated (your reference to the pink/red stool).

Good luck. It sounds like she is in really bad shape.

Turn on the auto misting. Hand misting just won't cut it. She's sounds quite dehydrated. They can only hear very low frequency sounds that you can't hear so I doubt it is the sound that bothers her. Perhaps the line is vibrating the whole cage. Try padding the line and securing it to the cage so it doesn't vibrate.

It is also possible that she is getting ready to lay but that is really bad news if she is also dehydrated.

Wild caughts are really problematic, especially gravid ones. Do you know if she is in fact graviid? Virtually all the adult females imported in the past four months will have come in gravid or with retained sperm.

What is your experience with wild caughts? Chameleons in general?

I've got a real soft spot for wild caughts and I work very very hard to keep them alive. I feel a sense of personal failure when one dies. I don't lose many, partly because I work so hard to give them more than what they need.

Can you send pictures of her and her cage and her laying bin? I know almost zip about panthers, but I think I'm pretty good with wild caughts, even ones imported in really horrible shape.

wild caught chameleon is the first.
laying bin is mix cocopeat and sand.
If she ever used the laying bin. I'm on top of sand to notice.

Pink/Red urate is not found. poop over plants,Remove it immediately.
a few day ago poop on the floor urate and current cham picture.

By "cover" I mean plants to hide in, not a literal cover (top) on the laying bin. She needs to feel safe to lay her eggs. I gather from the newspaper you used on the bottom that English is not your first language. If you are at all unsure of what I mean, please ask me again and I will try to rephrase it in simpler English.

Here are a couple of pictures of the bottoms of cages for two of my wild-caught females (T.q.graciliors). The first has only been in captivity one year. The second cage belongs to a female imported in December 2014, so she's been in captivity two and a half years. The closer to import the more I am worried that they will feel safe and hidden. I like to have the whole bottom of the cage as a laying bin so if they go to the bottom, they will be somewhere they can dig and lay.

I'm change the inside of the cage.
Add Epipremnum aureum and recreate laying bin.
The height of the laying bin is 8~9 inch and cocopeat&sand is 4~5 inch.
She is still in the middle of the plant. So It's hard to take pictures. not basking.
Today she did not eat anything.
I cover the cage with newspaper.

I can't tell the size from the photo, but based on the leaf size of the pothos plant, that bin looks way too small. It probably needs to filled deeper, too.

She may not be ready to lay and her not eating is a completely separate issue. I know next to nothing about panthers.
