My Gift From Petr Necas

My husband and I were honored to get to spend some time with Petr Necas last night for dinner and loud music and again today at our home and we went to feed the wild iguanas. All of the information that he shared with us will always be treasured.

Here is a gift that he brought me. A chameleon calendar of Tanzania chameleons all photographer by Petr.

It was really exciting that Petr Necas came to see me. No, I didn’t not load him up with babies. Petr will be flying back home to the Czech Republic tomorrow and chameleon babies are not allowed on the plane. He did however make photos of all my adults and little Hammy.

Yes, we met him years back at the Daytona reptile show when he came to talk at the chameleon symposium about new species of chameleons. You should plan to come to the Daytona Show this year. You aren’t that far from Daytona.

I was curious about that Chamizoo logo on the calendar and was pleased with what I found. I hope they are successful. I'd love to visit that area of the world.

I think Petr might have the best looking signature I've ever seen.
