My First Crested :D

This is a recent addition to my animals. Hope you guys like him.

Named him Vaelstrasz if any of you play WoW prebc you might recognize the name.

What a cutie! Age/weight/sex? Unless by him you mean male LOL!

from what i know he is about 7 months, but i have no clue on the weight D: (no scale around). Ive been meaning to invest in one but just haven't had the money to. He is the second to my Rhacodactylus geckos. The other being a gargoyle.

Awesome! I love rhacs. I should be getting a garg when the weather cools off.

Thats the little garg i'm hoping to get a leachie sometime soon.

Don't know if i'm ready to breed anything yet really D:
I would love to breed cresteds one day that would be great i think.
As for the leachie i don't have one yet but i would love to get one the thing is the cheapest i have seen a babie for is like 300 and an adult for like 600 soooo ya thats not going to happen for a little while.

I plan on getting a leachie just as a pet. I have seen them 300 shipped as adults due to being unknown crosses.

Hmm see i don't know if i could buy something knowing that it had unknown crosses. I noticed that my crested seems to hide under the substrate at times during the day is there any reason that i need to worry about this?

Unknown crosses as in Nuu Ana or Pine Island leachies were crossed, but they didn't know that because they lost papers or something else happened.

Your crested is sleeping, or he needs more humidity.

i always check the humidity when i leave and when i get home its usually around 60 to 70% is that not enough for the little guy?

That should be fine. I have a little one that always hides in the paper towels, even if it is packed with foliage.

Thats what i have him in and i felt like there was more than enough things to hide in and to climb around on but he still likes to go under the substrate. I know its not to hot in there during the day for him i keep it at a constant 78 and during the night it drops to about 68 or so (i'm not sure if thats to low for the night time)
