I was informed that he was a male by the pet store, but understand the inaccuracy that often accompanies this statement. If you guys could identify it for me that would be lovely.

How old did the worker say it was but I'm going with female.

I didn't think to ask. I was thinking it was female after checking a bunch of pictures, but he/she has gotten blue and purple tints to him at times and I wasn't sure if that was the norm.
