My first chameleon cage diy style

Looks good. I just made one that looks almost identical last week but I water sealed it with outdoor wood sealer and installed a piece of 1/8" thick HDPE sheeting on the bottom to make cleanup easier (otherwise, it's the same). What size screen are you using? Also, have you put a barrier around that gap in the door at all to stop escaping insects?

Yes I put something there for the gap. The screen is 4 feet exactly in length. Im going to put some fiber fiberglass sheeting for the bottom. I'm going to make it wherethe bottom slides out so cleaning can be much easier. I love making cages on my free time. The wood dealer is a great idea. Not only it makes the cage pop ,it also protects it . The next cage I make today,I'm defenitely going to stain it with sealer. This cage is 4' high by 2' wide. The next cage I build will be 5' tall by 3 ' wide. I will then split the middle to make it splits in two.cages in one. I will be adding legs to this cage too
