I was just doing my normal every 2 day check on my eggs and there he was. This was defiantly worth the wait. I started this project in Nov 2013 with babies. Since then I've acquired a nice little collection. I have more than 150 eggs cooking. Fingers crossed they all hatch out like this little guy.
**This project just got 100 more times fun!!!

Here's the sire. I bought him from Brian Stenson of crazy eye chams. His sire is Scotty.

I'll defiantly be keeping this guy/gal and hopefully in the next week or so I'll be updating this thread with pics of more.
I was surprised to see a hatchling from this clutch because I have 2 clutches that are several months older. Right now I have 9 clutches. The oldest was laid in May last year. Atleast now I know to start keep an eye on the eggs earlier even if older clutches are still cooking.

There will never be a baby like the first one. I think I stared at that baby in wonder for hours. Something that tiny and so functional. I wasn't sure my daughter would ever get there!!. Congrats.

Are they all the same kind of cham eggs? There isn't usually tons of difference when they hatch. I know panthers very but I do not know how much. have they all be incubated the same? I just love to learn new stuff.

Yes. They are all ambilobies. I just put them all in the closet at the exact same level. It's easier to monitor the temp that way. I was really surprised that one of the 2 older clutches didn't hatch first. But hey I'll still take it!!

The only difference that I can see is the female to this clutch was 2 or 3 months older than the 2 older clutches. The 2 older clutches were both laid by a single female. The female that laid the clutch that's hatching now laid a second clutch too. I wonder if that clutch will hatch a little early too. Hope so!!!

Since my post 3 more hatched out giving me a total of 4 now. And another one cut the egg open so maybe tommorow he will crawl out and meet his siblings. Now I have 17 to go. Can't wait!! This is more exiting than I imagined it. I made this jungle gym. It seams to be the perfect size for there tiny feet. Any suggestions on how I can improve on my design.
