My First Baby Bearded Pygmy Chameleon Hatch!!!

Well here is the baby this morning and it looks as though three of its siblings are about to hatch woo hoo. I'm guessing the other four eggs might be from another female as there is no sign of them sweating yet.

Thanks, it wasn't too keen on having its photo taken though. Three are out now. :) Can you really sex them as soon as they are born? :)

Yep! You sex them based on tail length, just like the adults. Sometimes there's one with a medium length tail to throw you off so those are hard to call that young. But he has a decent length tail. I say boy, and I was 10 for 10 sexing my babies. It's easier to tell with all the babies out so you can compare them.

Here were 3 of my babies together. The middle is a girl, the other two are boys:
full

She was a tricky one as her tail was actually a little longer than expected. But she grew up a girl.

Oh blimey. Maybe when they are a bit bigger I should line them up on a twig for you to look at lol. At the moment they all look the same to me. :)
