My Female

Ok, I need some advice. I bred my one female like 3 weeks ago several times. She has since become a recluse, hiding in her little "tree" and doesnt come out except to eat. I have a lay box in there for her and even a humidifier set up. But shes still showing receptive colors.....yet she is getting noticeably bigger. Is this normal???

Ok, thanks! I'm use to breeding boas and havent had to deal with the whole egg laying thing so I'm like paranoid about my girls getting egg bound.....even took my Ackie to the vet cause I was getting worried about her....but she was fine.
So, how long till she starts to dig/want to lay eggs...I talked to Sandy, and she said she should be ready about now.....but she hasnt gone to her box or even on the floor looking for places to dig.

Depending on the temperature, it could take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks. Veileds usually have a lot of eggs. As she becomes bigger, the eggs will be pressing against her stomach and you will be able to see the outline of the eggs.
