Your female looks way to young to breed.
Females should not be bred until they are at least a year old, if not closer to a year and a half.
and as was also stated, she doesnt ahve the spots on her that indicate shes sexually mature.
your male looks a little too young as well, He appears to only be around 5 months old, and you should wait until hes older, when he can handle breeding.
not to mention, have you thought this through on breeding? trust me, its hard work.
7-9 months of eggs incubating wondering if they are truely fertile, wondering when they wil hatch. then they hatch, and you have lots of little babies to feed now. money money money. i have 38 eggs, 12 have hatched right now, and i currently spend more time dealing with them, than i do anything else. and they eat so much. ive had babies for a week and ive spent 50 bucks on bugs alone to feed them.
as for the males tail, i dont know why they did that, unles the tail tip was infected.
