My female veiled won't lay eggs!

Hi, I have a female chameleon and this is the first time that she would lay her eggs. She is experiencing all of the symptoms that made me sure it is time for her to lay eggs. Her sand bucket is placed somewhere where nothing can disturb her. The play sand is moist and it is deep enough for her to dig. I also put the screen from her cage on top of the bucket and hung the lights. I tried to get her start digging yesterday and she didn't, and today she escaped and just stayed on top of the screen, so I just put her back in the cage. For some reason she does not want to go in the sand, she would stay on the edge of the bucket and when i put the screen she just hangs from it upside down.

What do I need to do to get her on the sand and start digging? And I pretty sure she has the eggs, I tried to feel them but I didn't want to hurt her so I am not sure if I felt them or not. Her belly does seem big and she tries to dig in her cage. Does she not like the moist sand? Or is she sick?

I also noticed purple spots appear on her a few days ago and they have been showing since. She is usually green, so purple is something that I have never seen on her.

If you could please give me some advise on what I can do, I am really worried. Thank you!

Provided you have done everything good up to this point... NOTHING :)

Give her time.
Tips: pre dig a few sites, make sure the sand or soil is moist, she has good uvb, good calcium/vitamin intake, temps, proper laying set up, etc..

All of my laying cages are set up like this.
Female Cage Ficus 31x31x48
Pot approx 22x15
60-70 lbs of sand, soil and sphagnum moss.
full
