My female Panther just lay eggs, what's next?

Kinyoga, i saw the digging but i tried to dig it up and there's nothing. I'm not even quite sure if she is pregnant, she got a big tummy though. But i saw here digging up the soil. My question is what can happen if you didn't touch those eggs if there is any. Thanks

Where to start. I'm trying to determine what happened somi know what's going on with her.
Where was she digging?
Did she sit butt down in the hole for quite a while?
Did she fill the hole in?

kinyoga, i really dont have a clue, now shes is up in the branch and just fed her yesterday. What happen is she dug a hole i saw her sat on it and i left her. After a few hours i came by to check the dug up soil is not fill at all. I cleaned up her cage and try to see even the soil was not fill up if there are some eggs but found none. Should i offer her a separate bin? what if a chameleon wanted to lay eggs and there were no soil available? what will happen next? im just curious, can they lay their eggs without digging?

A Jackson chameleon does not need to lay eggs for they give live birth. I bred exotic birds before even without a nest they will lay their eggs and hatch it. I wish i really could find some answers here. Thank you so much for replying.

btw, i filled up the dug hole that my female panther did.

You shouldn't have filled in the hole and you should not let her see you watching her when she's digging.she will likely abandon the hole and if it happens too often it can lead to eggbinding.

Here's how egglaying should go...
The female will dig a hole or even several holes over a few days.she should eventually chose one and dig it until she is happy with it. When she's happy with it she will sit butt down, usually in the evening and lay the eggs. She may even sleep in the hole while she is doing it. Once the eggs are all laid she will fill in the hole and return to the branches....skinny...thirsty...hungry. At this point you can dig the eggs up and incubate them if they are fertile. If they are not fertile you should count them to see if she's laying a proper number or not.
