kinyoga, i really dont have a clue, now shes is up in the branch and just fed her yesterday. What happen is she dug a hole i saw her sat on it and i left her. After a few hours i came by to check the dug up soil is not fill at all. I cleaned up her cage and try to see even the soil was not fill up if there are some eggs but found none. Should i offer her a separate bin? what if a chameleon wanted to lay eggs and there were no soil available? what will happen next? im just curious, can they lay their eggs without digging?
A Jackson chameleon does not need to lay eggs for they give live birth. I bred exotic birds before even without a nest they will lay their eggs and hatch it. I wish i really could find some answers here. Thank you so much for replying.
btw, i filled up the dug hole that my female panther did.
