My Female Panther Has A Scab-Like Spot. Please Help

Hello everyone, my name is Tyler and I am a new owner of a female panther. I have done lots of research and have been taking care of her very well.

A few days ago i have noticed a black scab on her side. It literally looks like a human scab but its black. Only 1/4" in size and doesn't seem to affect her at all.

I wouldn't be too alarmed until we get a solid diagnosis here...

I would attach a picture so we can see what kind of scab spot the little guy has.

I'm pretty sure its a burn, I felt my basking lamp and there is a small beam-like spot that burns if i get too close to it. which is the same size as her scab. its only a 25 watt bulb so i dont understand why its doing that.

Does the burn ever fully heal?
