My crickets are dying.. Help

How big is the container your keeping them in? I know when I had mine in a small Rubbermaid they were dying off really quickly...I think I was putting to many into a small space. I started using a 10 gallon fish tank with a mesh lid and its been way better.
And you need to clean them out a lot, crickets are really dirty...plus if enough food isn't available they will eat each other...at least mine do lol
I just put some egg cartons in and pour some gut load right onto the bottom of the tank along with some water crystals and a Weetabix cereal patty and they have done way better.

Sorry to hear you are having issues with your crickets, i keep mine in a 10 gallon with a mess top. And one dish with fresh gutload daily,another dish with calcium fortified water crystals, and commercial dry cricket food covering the bottom. And about four chucks of egg carton and serveral paper towel tubes. Hope this helps,and good luck.

Ya make sure they have plenty of room to hide or they will kill each other. Also a good amount of airflow will help with that. If you want to make a cheap and easy one get a 18 gallon plastic tub or container then just make a window and plenty of hiding space. Just Youtube this

What size are the crickets? Adults only live a few weeks at most.
Are you providing enough moisture? They don't last long dried out.
What are you feeding? Too much of certain things can kill them. Too much calcium for example.

The crickets are 3/4 i wish they last me more than a week ! I figured it was that the cage was too small i just ordered a bigger one. Hopefully they last longer in the bigger cage.

A bigger cage helps a lot as well as everything else that has been said. Although too much humidity can kill them off too. If u have younger ones die while shedding then its too low otherwise its fine. They may be to old to live as long as you would like. Try ordering half inch. You will have to feed more but they will live longer and don't chirp at that size 
Another thing is to raise roaches. U need the same size cage and environment except also need a heat lamp. Plus they live two years so won't die off on u like that. Just some ideas to make it easier.

What foods in particular have enough calcium to kill them?

I think you would have to add actual calcium to the food stuffs- I don't think a commercial food would do it maybe. I just know that someone messing with dry food formulation once figured out what percentage of calcium you can't go above, or the crickets start dying.
