My crested gecko

This is my crested gecko Leo, he's 2yrs old i've only had him 1 week. He's such a gorgeous little guy and very friendly.

He was waiting for his banana i had on a spoon just before i took the pic. Banana is his fave lol

What a wonderful little guy! What are you feeding him and what are you keeping him in?

He's in a glass viv that has mesh on the top. I'm feeding him on the komodo crested gecko complete powder, baby food and banana every so often. He wont eat insects, i tried him on a tiny grass hopper and he just licked it LOL, awww!

If you are feeding CGD, it is meant to be a complete diet. If you feed it anything else, it can unbalance the formula.

You can give treats, but only once every few weeks is suggested.

Thanks for the info, i didn't know that. The banana and baby food will only be a treat once in a while.

I give my geckos a "treat" every other month. They love papaya. Pangea has a great papaya powder that I'm trying out.

Nice Cresty

Banana should only be a very very occasional thing as it has too high a potasium content for cresties. In all honesty I'd leave it out altogether.
Mango, Papaya, Melon, Pear and Peach are better alternatives.
