His back legs

It could be a condition called gout. Both legs are like this? I would take him to the vet and have some bloodwork done and see how high his uric acid levels are. In the mean time, I would lower the branches in his cage cushion the bottom with towels or something soft so he does not hurt himself if he keeps falling. What do you feed for instects and what do you feed the insects themselves?

I am not 100% that that is what is wrong. Gout can be caused from too much protein in the diet. If there has not been excess protein, then there could be something else going on with the kidneys. Edema can cause swelling also, but it is more common in the neck area. Edema is excess fluid in the tissues. If he is falling, then he could also be in pain from the swelling because it hurts to grip.
