My chameleon wont eat

Hi, I recently got my first Graceful Chameleon (male, around 6 months old) a 2 months ago, until last week he was active but now when I try feeding him he just walks aways , I took him to my garden and he off to a tree and starting munching on a small flower(I don't know what plant it is) he wont eat but he drinks water whenever I water his tree for around 4 days, I checked his tongue and it seems normal
I tried switching his food from crickets to roaches but again he wasn't interested in eating them, I am very concerned about this

As for his cage, I keep him in a sort of a closed balcony with some indoor plants my mom keeps, its very humid but also pretty warm, until last week he used to eat around 12 crickets per day and his dropping are white at one end then goes on black (I'm concerned about this too, is it normal?)

edit: forgot to mention that his color is dark brownish when he is sitting in his spot

Welcome to the forums. I have a little Graceful too. Where did you get your little guy? He is most likely a wild caught and could have parasites. I recommend a fecal test and a check up. My little guy Tate has always been a picky eater. Sometimes he want eat either. I weigh him weekly and when I see he's loosing allot of weight I smash up some bugs and just put the insides of the bugs (soft parts) into a syring without a needle and feed him. I had to do this last spring and again this spring. My vet thinks he is looking for a mate and not thinking about eating because he runs around like a receptive female. Where do you live? If you don't already have a good chameleon vet I might be able to help you find one.

Thank you jannb :D
And I got him from my friend's friend (he was selling around 5 of them and I got one), unfortunately I don't know where did he bring them from
And thats interesting, mine is also a very picky eater but he used to eat unlike now.

I live in Dubai haha, and I asked few veterinarians and they all said they will have a look but they aren't specialists, they specialise in dogs, birds and cats :c how can I know if he has parasites?

The vet will test your chameleons poop under a microscope for parasites and if he has them the vet will give you meds to get rid of them.
