My Chameleon named Marty

Hello,

My name is Chris I have Just recently purchased my first Jackson's Chameleon.
His name is Marty. I hear many different stories and situations about them and I'm not sure what to believe. Is it better to have a glass terrarium or screen terrarium. Ive been reading a lot of different post on here and I feel I can learn a lot from everyone on here.
 
i started off using glass terrariums then switched to screen cages. IMO screen cages are better.
 
Still not sure about the glass vs screen , still?:rolleyes:

Both are "great" to use..its a matter of preference and practicality..:cool:

Depends on the species and circumstances. One is not necessarily better than another, and either one can be a problem. That's why research is so important.

By the way how old is your Jackson's?? I have a 2.5 yo male Jackson's and a 5mos female. I started my male in glass and now he free ranges 24/7. My female is currently in a screen reptibreeze. If you want to use glass you want something like an Exo Terra. The only problem with those is that they aren't large enough for an adult Jackson's. Your best bet would be to get something like a 24x24x48 screen Reptibreeze depending on your chams age and size.
Currently my female is in a 16x16x20 Reptibreeze and is outgrowing it very fast (knowing I would have to upgrade to larger) but because she was so tiny when I got her it was a great fit at the time.

Hahahaha!!! Ace always thinks he's stalking in secret...but it's only cause I let him think so. I really have the upper hand..he just doesn't know it..LOL! :p:):D:eek:
