My chameleon is dying

My veiled chameleon is not moving but her eyes... I think she's going to die, I don't know what to do... And when she tries to move, shes only moving her two front legs, she can't move her lower body, only her tail... I found her laying down in her cage... What could cause this?

Might I suggest that after you complete the form you print it out (with your answers) and take it with you to the vet. Medical appointments are stressful and it's easy to forget important information. Having that with you will help your vet understand the situation.

Op posted this thread and new logged on again. I am guessing the cham died. You can click on the persons name, that takes you to the profile page, if you look it will tell you when that person was last on the forum.

Sounds like the Cham fell off the branch and has damaged the lower back. Be quick! This has happnd to me before but was lucky

Healthy chams can normally handle a fall it sounded egg bound or bad mbd.. I wish people would join the forum before the chams are on deaths door

I think the more important point is you wish people would find out as much as they can about the animal before it's on death's door. I came here because I was worried about Olli but I hadn't heard of this forum until I did certain searches and a thread showed up in google. A lot of info was got from very detailed books and the chameleon people on RFUK before this time.
