My chameleon has crusty elbows

my chamelon has got crusty elbows and knees and he had it ever since i had him i had him for about 1-2 months and now it turned grey i have been rubbing in some shedding spray can someone please tell me what to do?

mine has elbows that have a different scaling on them too.. I dont know if Id describe it as crusty though, just a little more rough than the rest of him. I was told by the vet that it was normal. hope that helps
