My chameleon girl got something on her eyes

hello everybody, we went to see the vet today, he told me it is not very good, he told me it could be some edema and than it is making such abubbles around her eyes. He gave her Vitamin D, he told us to come after one week to see what is happening and maybe do some other tests. I am really worried when we were there she looks so unhealty and weak. Please hold your thums for her

To be honest I dont think that looks like edema. Ive seen chams with edema. Its quite common actually in gravid females. It is usually centered around the neck or gular area. Ive seen edema on the side of the neck but Ive never seen a case of edema in the eye area. I immed thought its an infection. (Either eye or skin) Has she shed and retained any skin around her eye turrets? If it is a skin infection you'd have to have tests done to determine if its viral or bacterial.

It looks like an infection to me, eye or even sinus.
Did the vet take a swab or blood tests or anything towards a diagnosis?
If your chameleon gets natural sunlight at all, its unlikely to be a vitamin D issue. I encourage you to complete the "how to ask for help" questionaire.
btw Rubber tree plants are not recommended.

I am going to put some info about my chameleon
Yemeni chameleon, female 1.5 year. She is in my care from her 3 months
I handle her every day for some little time
I am feeding her with crickets, she eats uasually 3-6 a day, sometimes she likes some green salad, I am giving her vitamin Roboran this is here in the Czech republic, the VET told me about this. I am giving her that every second day. I spray the water, like 3 times a day on glass. Yes I can see her drinking. Her Fecals are half black and than white and yellow: Yes she had some parasite tests. During the Christmas, her ovary been taken out (operated) . Operation was successful

It is a glass terarium, she is on the side of the room so half light not the straight one. It is like 70x40x35 centimetres. Light I am using Reptiglo 5,0 UVB, and changing that with warm light. The ligt is switched on for 12 hours. Tempretature is about 23-25 Celsium, she dont like very warm cage. Overnight is like 20-22 Celsius. I have got thermometer. I have rubber plant (now I put it away). The cage is from the side of the fans. The height is 40 centimetres from the ground. I am in Europe (Czech republic)

im not sure about everything going on, supplements, operations and such.
if your cham was in my care. i would first start simple.
1. i would first cut out all vitamin supplements, prescriptions. i would only give plain phos free calcium up to 2 weeks. in this time i would read sandrachameleons blog (follow this to the tee) on gutloading and properly gutload your feeders. both of these two in combination only work if the both of them are done right. the point here is to basically detox her. if it is being cause from gutload, supplementing, rx's.
also during this time i would shower chamber every day for 15 minute or so.
if number one didnt work and it is still present after two weeks.
2. order a bottle of reptaid and administer per label. i would also get some fish oil supplements. they come in little capsules. i would put some on a qtip then lightly smear it on the back of ONE cricket or feeder. i would do this every feeding for one week.
she is drawing her turret in. im at a loss of idea of why she would be doing that except for maybe a infection.

If Blackyna is unable to get Reptaid in the Czech Republic, is there something else you would suggest?

May I ask what the ingredients of "Roboran" are? What is the nutritional analysis?
Roboran got Calcium- 18%, phosphorus 5,8%, Vitamin A 500 000 m.j/kilogram, vitamin D3 100 000 m.j/kilogram, vitamin E alfakoferol 750 mg/kg, cuprum 150 mg/kg. These are ingrediends of Roboran, the doctor give it to me. I also ceen one thing today, I give to all my chameleons the water, to all of them and I could see that the female (sick) still has her poo more yellow than white, even she had enough water. Do you think she can has some kidney problems so it show up also on her eyes?

She looks better in those pictures, doesn't she? Keep going with what you're doing, following the advice you've been given. They are remarkably resilient creatures.
