What do you do for drainage?

The 5 cages on the right have sink drains cut into the cabinets and hose connected to the sink drains to drain into a bucket... the 3 cages on the left have no drainage yet... that will be for next week... but there hardly is any water run off due to the amount of plants i keep to catch the excess mist.

Love your setup. And like the way you setup your cages with the large tall plants and many vines and open areas. That is the way i do mine also. I see far too many cages on her with tiny plants.

I lie the setup and I love all your chameleons. Once I get a place of my own I will be having a lot of chameleons. Probably too many lol. I like how they are all lined up so you can see them all. Great pictures!!

ChamRoom

thats a super sharp, set up ; great display item and intrigues the educationalfactors of true collecting; how very intereasting it is.

Awesome setup...Just one thing though, watch out for those crickets i see in the background. Im sure you know what they are capable off(chewing off bits of your cham:eek:)

I don't want to sound negative, but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of room in those cages horizontial wise. What size are the cages and do you house only panthers?

How old is that panther in the 2nd pic of the panthers? My 4 month old ambanja looks identical to him just mine has alot of red.

How are you hanging those dowels your using? Don't they tear the screen? I like the idea i just don't want to mess up my cage.

I just cut the dowles to the length I need and I bought some push pins that have a flat head and I stick the push pins into the dowels. You might have to use two push pins on one end of the dowel though to keep the dowel from twisting while the cham walks on it.

The two big cages are 24x24x48, one is 24x24x36 and the rest 18x18x36... the panthers in the 18x18 are still small enough to house in those cages.. they are all less than 8 months old.. prob a couple more months until I have to start upgrading them to bigger and better homes.. And yes all I house is panthers.

The cages (except for the furthest left one) appear to be 18x18x36 and 24x24x48.
PLENTY of room!
Even the far left one which is maybe 16x16x30 is fine.

That's brilliant. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is stealing that idea.

Haha.. yea we were! And your right about the cage on the far left which is 16x16x30.. it houses a 4 month old female so its the perfect size for her right now.. im going to take out the ficus and go with pothos or an umbella plant in there.. my ficus dropped all its leaves in that cage.
