My cam looks drunk!!

Hello everyone,
So ive had a few posts asking if my cams legs looked normal cuz i was worried about MBD and quite a few ppl reponded saying she looks normal and she does in my opinion but lately shes just clumsy not so much in her cage but if i get her out she will fall off my arm (i always have her over the bed so no hard falls just pilllows) and when i put her on flat ground like the carpet she walks like shes drunk, and just seems like her back legs dont move as fast as the front. Is this normal? this is my first cam so i dont really have much to go on. could this be a early stage of MBD. I am planning a trip to the vet soon if this doesnt improve but im also trying to find one in my area at the moment. any help would be great =]

You know...there's a "mommy rule"..if you're bothered by it, there's probably something there. So, maybe a vet visit is in order?

If you don't want to go there, maybe fill out the "How to Ask For Help" form and, if possible post videos.

I can tell you that their feet are built to walk on vines they can cling to, so anything "flat" like an arm or the ground throws them off. If you're right there watching (obvious when it's your arm) they also get that "freeze and the predator won't see you thing" going on....and the combination can be very uncoordinated looking.

Note that if you put her on the ground and stepped back far enough that she thought she could pull an escape, she'd probably take off like a banshee. They can move very quickly, even on flat ground, when it suits them.

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care? veiled female, not sure of age id say around 7 months, ive had her for 4 months
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? once every couple days
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders? she gets around 10 crickets a day,5 phoenix worms,1 butter worms, wax worms once in a while when shes in the mood. Shes not picky at all
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule? calcium everyday then with d3 and mutivitamin twice a month.
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking? she has a dripper system and a mist system goes off every 4 hours. ive seen her drink a few times but not too often.
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? normal brown and yellowish white, no she hasnt been tested.
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you. shes always been very normal eats everything thats put in front of her

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions? mostly glass and screen top. i know its not the best and im working on getting him a larger screen one. its around 2 1/2 feet tall and 2 feet wide.
Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule? its an exo terra one of the starter kits. she has a repti glo 5.0 thats on during the day and a red light for extra warmth
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps? between 65-80, lowest is 65 and thats at night my thermometer is at the top so the bottom is a little cooler although she doesnt go down there unless shes eating worms.
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity? humidity is always atleast 70 if not higher, mister goes off often and helps alot.
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind? no live ones yet
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? in a corner of my room its pretty quiet there. and about 3 feet from the floor
Location - Where are you geographically located? in california

Are you gutloading (feeding) your feeders? It's mainly the crickets that are a concern for this question.

Is the red light on at night? If so, I'd suggest turning it off (heck, I'd suggest turning it off anyway, lights are not red in chameleon world). As long as your room temps don't go much under 60 there's no need for extra heat. If you do let your room get that cold at night, there are "no light" heat options you want to look into.

But really, give your chameleon a dark, cool night.

Does that enclosure have ventilation holes near the bottom so there's good airflow? Many of the "glass with screen on top" enclosures do and if so, that's good. She's approaching adulthood so you do want to get her her "big girl" cage.

Do you have a laying bin in for her? She's the right age to have a clutch of infertile eggs.

If you could post a picture of her, that would be helpful.

Also, where in California? I'm in California and it was 75 degrees in the shade today....I know for a fact there is snow in California right now....

the crickets get carrots at the moment, the red light is off at night so no lights there, yes this cage does have good ventilation and im working on getting a new cage but im so confused about which ones are best and im still trying to decide what i should get. i just got a laying bin i put her in it earlier and she just looked at me like what r u doing mom!! haha, there are some pics in the post above which are links to previous post with pics.
And im in ventura county it was around 70 today although my house stays pretty cool.

Can you make sure there's something in the enclosure she can go to if she wants to dig? It doesn't need to be deep if you have a separate laying bin ready. She just needs a place to let you know she's ready.

I would ditch the red light. Get a regular incandescent household bulb (you can get them at the grocery store) for heat. It will be cheaper in the long run and a much more normal light spectrum for your chameleon.

You're going to want to vary what you feed your crickets. Because it can get messy if you have a lot of crickets, you might want to cull out the feeders a day early and put them in the deluxe suite with the good food for 24 hours before feeding them off. You want some greens and some fruit. If you keep that separate bin, you don't have to worry about things like the tomato causing mold because you'll clean it out when you feed the crickets off.
