my cage

I started my chameleon off as a 4 month old in almost the same size cage and he was fine! I never even cup fed. Just monitored his feeding and didn't put all the food in at once. The cage looks really nice. What about putting screen on top of the bottom so the feeders cannot escape but the water will still drain? I would not recommend putting your chameleon in a tank of any kind. They do not really have proper ventilation. A terrarium yes, a tank no.

i think i will take your advice on the screen on the bottom of the cage and i dident think using the tank was a very good idea too but i think am going to just put him in the cage like u said and just monitor his eating and thanks it took me a bit but i think hes going to like it i hope this is going to be my first cham i just want it to be perfect for him :)

Well sounds like you are going to have one lucky chameleon!Yeah, on the feeding I would just dump some crickets in on the bottom and they would zoom right up the sides towards the light and he would pick them off one by one. I would put in like 5 at a time. The can consume like 20 little crickets a day but that would be awfully hard to keep track of if you do it all at once. I would do 5/5 in the am and 5/5 in the early afternoon if you are available to do so. I know people work!!! Be sure and post your pictures when he/she arrives!!! Good luck with everything!!!

i will forsure post a pic when i get him or her i cant wait and thanks agine for all the help and am sure i will be asking for more lol
