My Bradypodium Thamnobates & Transvaalense

Had to try out my new camera and take some pics today of the Bradys. I have 1.2 Thamnobates and 1.1 Transvaalense. Of course the first 2 weeks were pure terror as i imagined everything under the sun would harm them. So far all the Thamnobates have been through 1 shed. Still waiting on the Transvaals. All eat cricket and flies but no interest so far in small roaches or any type of worm. The Thamnobates are very active and not at all reclusive. Only the male has an attitude and will hiss and attempt to bite me if given the chance. The Transvaals are unusual to say the least. They are rather reclusive and hang upside down like bats at night and also to eat. As soon as the lights come on the both go to the bottom of the enclosure to search for food and work their way up to the top, whereas the Thamnobates hunt everywhere with no preferences. Enjoy the pictures! Ruth

Ruth, Ive had the exact opposite experience! Lol, and your male transvaal is already showing color like that?!! holy crap he is gonna be insane!
I OBVIOUSLY dont keep the best for myself and this is perfect proof. I SEND THE BEST OUT!!! They all look great!!!

Thanks! ALL the chams i received from you arrived fat, healthy and after 2-3 days the stressed colors were gone and all were eating and very active. I too am amazed at the color of the Transvaal male, he is gorgeous! Thanks again for taking the time to import and also to give advice on how to take care of these wonderful gems. Ruth

Some really nice looking chams!! I like the thamnobates the best because of the more knobby appearance but both species are definitely awesome!

Welcome to the club Ruth! I hope you enjoy them as much as the rest of us have! They all look great :) Your male transvaal will be a real stunner!
