My baby male ambilobe panther chamelon isnt eating...
he is currently shedding.
and he keeps opening his mouth when he sees food, and when he does open his mouth, he is blowing bubbles. and he looks like he is gagging, almost like a frog.
i know he isnt dehydrated since his urate is white.
Can anyone help? please?:(

From what you described it sounds as if your panther has a pretty bad upper respiratory infection. Does he making wheezing noises, and crackling noises, and have excessive mucous coming from his mouth as well? Your guy needs to be taken to the vet to receive antibiotics.

thank you

He is actually making crackling noises, and blowing bubbles from his mouth, but thats about it.
He doesnt have mucous comming from his mouth.
ACTUALLY!
he hasnt been blowing bubbles for a few days, i was just worried, but he still looks like he is gagging when i show him crickets to eat.
but i will still take him to a vet, or do i not need to?

Those symptoms are definately characteristics of a Uri. He needs immediate attention from a vet and should be given antibiotics as soon as possible if you want your little guy to survive. In the meantime while you track down a vet, raise the temp 5 degrees or so and mist with warm water to encourage him to drink and stay hydrated. The warmer temp will help in keeping the bacteria in his lugs at bay until he receives the antibiotics. Refusal of food with a uri is a bad sign, and usually a characteristic of a uri in its later stages. If this is not treated immediately, the consequences are fatal.

Also, fill this out thoroughly so we can see where your husbandry may have caused the issue.

uhhh

i have a half glass/half screen cage.
i just bought a uvb/basking light, i dont remember the brand
the temp is usually around 70-80 degrees
humididty? 60-80 percent
plants. I have a small ficus
my cage is on the floor...not near any vents or anything
My cham is a 3 and 1/2 month old Red-barred ambilobe panther chameleon male
he used to eat around 15-20 crickets eveyday, but now he isnt eating that much, i fed him1 grasshopper(baby) and 2 crickets today (baby)
i usually feed him 30 mins after the lights are turned on, give him a nice warm misting, and watch him drink.
His fecies and dark Brown with a white urate
I dont handle him. im waiting until he decides to trust me and for him to come to me.
i have no clue what brand the suppliments are. all i know is its calcium
the problem im most concerened of as of now, is his eating.
i mist once in the morning, 30-60 mins after the lights are on, and once at 2:00-5:00
it also has no history with any problems... this is my first problem other than his hunger strike earlier. if that helps at all

Sounds like your chameleon may have a URI. I would get him to the vet or atleast make an apointment to get him/her checked out.
