Does he look ok last couple days been darker still eating kriks drinking water when I mist .. He basking there is that y he darker? Or he stressed ? he been climbing the screen alot ill also will have live plants I own a garden center I'm just waiting for my hibiscus to arrive

Basking temp 80 85 .. Maybe thought to hot? He also starting to show patterns like he maturing this is my first time did lot reading and his poop looks healthy has white and looks healthy

Here are things I've noticed

• Your cage is WONDERFUL (plenty of climbing spots)
• Raise the basking spot maybe 1 inch higher
• When he is basking, yes, he will get darker, that is normal.

And he does look 4 months old.

Make sure the basking spot is a little higher, and around 90 degrees. 80-85 is a little cold.

actually at 4 months, 85 is the high end of temperature range.
that is, according to care sheets on this site...

I personally think, live plants are ten times better for chams than artificial. I think you will too once you get your hibiscus in there, I think they look nicer too. Other than that I think you would be wise to heed the advice others have given.

Well the only problem I have been experiencing with live plants are the bugs(knats) but he looks healthy! Mine is only about 4months old and he will get darker or show some dark marks when he isn't satisfied with the temperature
