My Awsome Gift

Hoj

Friendly Grasshopper
So as some of you may know moderator Laurie is an avid quilter and does some awsome work.
Well since she is so darn nice and one of my best friends in this whole world she made and sent my GF and and I this amazing quilt.
The finishing stitching is so detailed and and well done and all the cool colors and just great.
The back is done is a neat wizzard theme fabric with cool, little figures and designs.
I really like it and help keep us warm on chilly Canadian nights snuggling on the couch.

So I just have to brag and show off alittle...:p;):D

Laurie also made us these amazzing mug ruggs to keep the big coffee mugs of the table but I think there are so nice they may be going on the wall

Thank you so much Laurie, We sure do love it....

Love the mug rugs, but that quilt is AWESOME! Great job, Laurie! Thanks for sharing, Hoj!

Such fantastic work - great job Laurie, and Hoj, you are one lucky guy to be able to curl up under such an incredible quilt! Can't say I'm jealous of the temperatures, though! Enjoy them.

Laurie is sooo clever! Those are amazing! :eek:I too received a lovely pair of mug rugs for Christmas! Mine live on the backs of my arm chairs - I don't want anything spilt on them! :D

I always appreciate someone with talent! A friend of mine used to do quilts and I know the time and effort that goes into making one. Very nice work Laurie and really like the chamleon mug rugs. I would not be risking any coffee spilling on those!

Hmmmmm - I am as green as Olive with envy !! LOL really, I must say WOW - how pretty is that- I just love quilts, and I agree- the mug rug is much to pretty to be hidden under a mug - my vote is on the wall too :D
Laurie, not only are you a Fountain of Knowledge - but a darn talented one at that :D ;)

Gook work Laurie, I was going to commend you on how great the cham pictures were until I realised that you didn't do them.........either way, all in all that's some damn fine quiltin', girl :D
Lucky you Hoj.....

Thanks all, quilting is all about time, patience, creating, and money. One quilt could buy a lot of chams. That my friends is how I justify my chams.:D:D:D Hubby doesn't have a chance, he knows chams come first.
