My Ambanja is losing weight.

Can anyone give me some info on what could be wrong with my little fellow.
He is a 9 month old Ambanja and is currently weighing in at 110 grams.
He eats very well and takes 5-6 locusts and a few crickets per day but still looks a little underweight.His tail looks alittle skinny and i am not sure whats up with him.
His viv looks fine,His heat is about 93 degs in his basking spot and the ambeant temp is around 80 degs.He is sprayed 3-4 times a day and will drink plenty of water when i give him it through the spray bottle.
He has been wormed last week with panacur but hasnt really put any weight on since that.

He looks big and healthy. His temps may be a little warm and he looks like he is close to a shed. Are you sure he is only 110 grams? He looks heftier than that. I am comparing him to the size of my veiled who weighs in at 205 grams.

Honestly, he looks like an import Ambilobe. I am guessing that is why you panacured him as well?.?. He has sunken eyes, very thin arms and head caps so you are probably guessing right with the de-worming. It doesn't directly put weight on him, but it allows him to get the full nutrition from his food. I would hydrate him very well and give him things like silk worms, grubs, and horn worms (high in fat). Give him a little TLC and he will be back on his feet quickly.

Cheers for the advise.He does really weigh in at 110 grams.My red bar weighs in at 170 grams but there really looks alot of difference for 60 grams.
As far as i know he was'nt aimport but i wormed him just in case.
I will bulk him up on fatty foods and see what happens.
Would a pinky or 2 do any harm.

He is definetely dehydrated, 110 for a 9 month old is very good.
The tail goes skinny, eyes sink in and his head bones start showing when he is very dehydrated, take him to a vet and get him treated or just give him a few showers and make sure he is drinking!

I spray him at least 3 times a day and he also drink from the bottle when i spray it in his mouth,He seems to love it and stays there for ages.is there any supplements that i can put in his water or is plain water better for him.

Chams aren't wired for eating pinkies and mammalian tissue (as I've read on another thread) so I'd stick to hornworms, they are healthier.

You can also mix Pedialyte into the water. Maybe not necessary, but it is extra hydrating.

can you bring down the temp a bit.
80 F ambient temp is a bit hot.
Hence, the dehydration occurs.
Increase his misting cycle and the length of the session until his eyes go back to being round.

Everyone has great advise here. I am wondering how long have you had him and how long has he been this way.

We have had him around 2 weeks now and he only started to get this way about 4-5 days ago.
