Which one is better for gutloading feeders? I've read collards in some care sheets, and mustard in others.

Rotate around and use both. Dandelion and Endive are also greens that you should use.

Walmart sells a big bag of mixed turnip, mustard, & collard greens for $2.98. That is what I use. No water crystals.

neither should form the bulk of your gutload. Try using both and a variety of other stuff as well

I rotate my greens. But the funny thing is my feeders done really like mustard and collard greens that much (they wont eat much of them), but they will devour turnip greens, dandelion greens, romain lettuce and arugula.

If you divide up the bag and put half of it in a ziplock bag right away and only get from one bag at a time, it lasts a long time. I'm also feeding a bearded dragon with it.

In my experience, such as crickets show a marked preference for collard greens. They can be purchased cheap in large bunches, probably more than you need. However, if you buy as such, the best way to keep them is to put them in the fridge in water, just as you would cut-roses out in the dining room in a vase.

Another thing about such as collards. If you buy them in the starter packs at such as Home Depot, and then re-pot them just as you would any other houseplant, they will grow forever, providing you keep cutting them back. So if you have a few growing, you can always pluck a couple leaves, or cut it back a bit (never to the last leaf), and have all the collards you need.
